And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful.Let the peace of Christ, to which you were indeed called in one body, rule in your hearts; and be thankful.
Very truly, I tell you, whoever receives one whom I send receives me; and whoever receives me receives him who sent me.Truly, truly I say to you, the one who receives anyone I send, receives Me; and the one who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.
Who, though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God as something to be exploited, but emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, being born in human likeness. And being found in human form, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death— even death on a cross.Who, as He already existed in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but emptied Himself by taking the form of a bond-servant and being born in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death: death on a cross.
For the Son of Man came to seek out and to save the lost. For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.
He must increase, but I must decrease. He must increase, but I must decrease.
So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new! Therefore if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.
For as in one body we have many members, and not all the members have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another. For just as we have many parts in one body and all the body’s parts do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually parts of one another.
I am the gate. Whoever enters by me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture.I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him.
But speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ. But speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, that is, Christ.
He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”He said to them, “But who do you yourselves say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
If you love me, you will keep my commandments. If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.
Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.”
For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have come to fullness in him, who is the head of every ruler and authority. For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over every ruler and authority.
For a child has been born for us, a son given to us; authority rests upon his shoulders; and he is named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. For a Child will be born to us, a Son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
Let it be known to you therefore, my brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you; by this Jesus everyone who believes is set free from all those sins from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses. Therefore let it be known to you, brothers, that through Him forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and through Him everyone who believes is freed from all things, from which you could not be freed through the Law of Moses.
But God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which he loved us even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ —by grace you have been saved—.But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our wrongdoings, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).
Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. The one who has the Son has the life; the one who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.
If the world hates you, be aware that it hated me before it hated you.If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you.
If you know me, you will know my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.
Therefore God also highly exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend, in heaven and on earth and under the earth. For this reason also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth.
And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father's only son, full of grace and truth. And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us; and we saw His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
We know love by this, that he laid down his life for us—and we ought to lay down our lives for one another. We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers and sisters.
He was despised and rejected by others; a man of suffering and acquainted with infirmity; and as one from whom others hide their faces he was despised, and we held him of no account. He was despised and abandoned by men, A man of great pain and familiar with sickness; And like one from whom people hide their faces, He was despised, and we had no regard for Him.
