And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful. Colossians 3:15	And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. peace gratitude body
Most certainly I tell you, he who receives whomever I send, receives me; and he who receives me, receives him who sent me. John 13:20	I tell you the truth, anyone who welcomes my messenger is welcoming me, and anyone who welcomes me is welcoming the Father who sent me. gentleness community

Who, existing in the form of God, didn’t consider equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, yes, the death of the cross. Philippians 2:6-8	Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. Savior obedience crucifixion
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost. Luke 19:10	For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost. salvation seeking
He must increase, but I must decrease. John 3:30	He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less. humility
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17	This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! creation rebirth
For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don’t have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Romans 12:4-5	Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other. body community dependence
I am the door. If anyone enters in by me, he will be saved, and will go in and go out and will find pasture. John 10:9	Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures. salvation
For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. John 3:17	God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. salvation judgment world
But speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him who is the head, Christ. Ephesians 4:15	Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. love truth church
He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Matthew 16:15-16	Then he asked them, “But who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Messiah

Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.” John 6:29	Jesus told them, “This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.” faith God
Be it known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man is proclaimed to you remission of sins; and by him everyone who believes is justified from all things, from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses. Acts 13:38-39	Brothers, listen! We are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins. Everyone who believes in him is made right in God’s sight—something the law of Moses could never do. law forgiveness freedom
For in him all the fullness of the Deity dwells bodily, and in him you are made full, who is the head of all principality and power. Colossians 2:9-10	For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. For a child is born to us. A son is given to us; and the government will be on his shoulders. His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6	For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ. John 17:3	And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth. eternal life God
But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved. Ephesians 2:4-5	But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) mercy love grace
He who has the Son has the life. He who doesn’t have God’s Son doesn’t have the life. 1 John 5:12	Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life. salvation life
If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you. John 15:18	If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first. persecution world
If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on, you know him and have seen him. John 14:7	If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him! Father
Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth. He was despised and rejected by men, a man of suffering and acquainted with disease. He was despised as one from whom men hide their face; and we didn’t respect him. Isaiah 53:3	He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.” John 20:29	Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.” faith blessing
By this we know love, because he laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. 1 John 3:16	We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters. love neighbor

The Word became flesh and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the only born Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.

So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.
