I am the true grapevine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more. John 15:1-2	I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit. fruitfulness sin obedience
You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you. John 15:3	You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. purification Word of God speaking

Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5	I am the vine, you are the branches; the one who remains in Me, and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. reward Jesus dependence
But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! John 15:7	If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. reward Jesus Word of God
When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father. John 15:8	My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples. Father following evangelism
When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. John 15:10	If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. law love Jesus
I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! John 15:11	These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full. joy Jesus blameless
This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you. John 15:12	This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. law love Jesus
There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. John 15:13	Greater love has no one than this, that a person will lay down his life for his friends. love sacrifice friendship
You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. John 15:16	You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you. obedience prayer calling
If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first. John 15:18	If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. persecution Jesus world
But I will send you the Advocate—the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me.
