John 6 - NIV & NRSV

Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For it is on him that God the Father has set his seal.
Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.
Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood abide in me, and I in them.
Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me.Just as the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever eats me will live because of me.
Then what if you see the Son of Man ascend to where he was before!Then what if you were to see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?

Lord, you are my God;
I will exalt you and praise your name,
