Law (2/5)

For Christ is the fulfillment of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother. And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.
For sin will not have dominion over you, for you are not under law, but under grace. For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.
If you love me, keep my commandments. If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
What shall we say then? Is the law sin? May it never be! However, I wouldn’t have known sin except through the law. For I wouldn’t have known coveting unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. For I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
And keep the instruction of Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, his commandments, his ordinances, and his testimonies, according to that which is written in the law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn yourself. And keep the charge of the Lord your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his rules, and his testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn.
Don’t judge, so that you won’t be judged.Judge not, that you be not judged.
For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other commandments there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
He declared to you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even the ten commandments. He wrote them on two stone tablets. And he declared to you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, that is, the Ten Commandments, and he wrote them on two tablets of stone.
Those who love your law have great peace. Nothing causes them to stumble.Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble.
You shall most certainly not make gods of silver or gods of gold for yourselves to be alongside me.You shall not make gods of silver to be with me, nor shall you make for yourselves gods of gold.
The wise in heart accept commandments, but a chattering fool will fall. The wise of heart will receive commandments, but a babbling fool will come to ruin.
He who keeps his commandments remains in him, and he in him. By this we know that he remains in us, by the Spirit which he gave us.Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us.
I have rejoiced in the way of your testimonies, as much as in all riches. In the way of your testimonies I delight as much as in all riches.
We have sinned, and have dealt perversely, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even turning aside from your precepts and from your ordinances. We have sinned and done wrong and acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and rules.
If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, even as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.
Love doesn’t harm a neighbor. Love therefore is the fulfillment of the law.Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another? There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?
But he who looks into the perfect law of freedom and continues, not being a hearer who forgets but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does. But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.
You shall diligently keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he has commanded you.You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies and his statutes, which he has commanded you.
Be it known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man is proclaimed to you remission of sins; and by him everyone who believes is justified from all things, from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.Let it be known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, and by him everyone who believes is freed from everything from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses.
I will never forget your precepts, for with them, you have revived me.I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life.
He therefore who supplies the Spirit to you and does miracles among you, does he do it by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?Does he who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you do so by works of the law, or by hearing with faith?
This is the end of the matter. All has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man.The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.
