You shall be holy to me; for I the Lord am holy, and I have separated you from the other peoples to be mine.

You shall be holy to me, for I, Yahweh, am holy, and have set you apart from the peoples, that you should be mine.

But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.”

When you are praying, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard because of their many words.
