But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. I am hard pressed between the two. My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better. But to remain in the flesh is more necessary on your account. For while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.

For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come.
