Life (3/6)

I will never forget your commandments, for by them you give me life.I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.
Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life.Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.
Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer.Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
Jesus replied, “But even more blessed are all who hear the word of God and put it into practice.”But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
Just as everyone dies because we all belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God.Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
People with integrity walk safely, but those who follow crooked paths will be exposed. He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.
So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law.Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
Don’t let the excitement of youth cause you to forget your Creator. Honor him in your youth before you grow old and say, “Life is not pleasant anymore.”Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them.
Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
For in him we live and move and exist. As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little.I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food to eat or enough clothes to wear. For life is more than food, and your body more than clothing.Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul? For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
My child, listen to me and do as I say, and you will have a long, good life.Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many.
But for us, There is one God, the Father, by whom all things were created, and for whom we live. And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created, and through whom we live. But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life.He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
