Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever abandon you,”Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Wealth obtained from nothing dwindles, But one who gathers by labor increases it.Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it.

Do not weary yourself to gain wealth; Stop dwelling on it.Do not toil to acquire wealth; be discerning enough to desist.

Honor the Lord from your wealth, And from the first of all your produce.Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce.

But who am I and who are my people that we should be able to offer as generously as this? Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to set their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy.

What is desirable in a person is his kindness, And it is better to be a poor person than a liar.What is desired in a man is steadfast love, and a poor man is better than a liar.
Better is the little of the righteous Than the abundance of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked will be broken, But the Lord sustains the righteous.Better is the little that the righteous has than the abundance of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous.
For the Lord your God will have blessed you just as He has promised you, and you will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow; and you will rule over many nations, but they will not rule over you.For the Lord your God will bless you, as he promised you, and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow, and you shall rule over many nations, but they shall not rule over you.
A good name is to be more desired than great wealth; Favor is better than silver and gold.A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, and favor is better than silver or gold.
When you set your eyes on it, it is gone. For wealth certainly makes itself wings Like an eagle that flies toward the heavens.When your eyes light on it, it is gone, for suddenly it sprouts wings, flying like an eagle toward heaven.
For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing.For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing.
