How does God's love abide in anyone who has the world's goods… 1 John 3:17

How does God's love abide in anyone who has the world's goods and sees a brother or sister in need and yet refuses help? 1 John 3:17	But whoever has worldly goods and sees his brother or sister in need, and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God remain in him? money compassion love
Thus says the Lord of hosts: Render true judgments, show kindness and mercy to one another; do not oppress the widow, the orphan, the alien, or the poor; and do not devise evil in your hearts against one another. Then I saw that all toil and all skill in work come from one person's envy of another. This also is vanity and a chasing after wind. Ecclesiastes 4:4	I have seen that every labor and every skill which is done is the result of rivalry between a person and his neighbor. While Peter was kept in prison, the church prayed fervently to God for him. Acts 12:5	So Peter was kept in the prison, but prayer for him was being made to God intensely by the church. prayer dependence community

And ‘to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the strength,’ and ‘to love one's neighbor as oneself,’—this is much more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
