| Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. | Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path. |
| Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart. | Your laws are my treasure; they are my heart’s delight. |
| Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word. | You are my refuge and my shield; your word is my source of hope. |
| The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple. | The teaching of your word gives light, so even the simple can understand. |
| Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. | Guide my steps by your word, so I will not be overcome by evil. |
| Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever. | The very essence of your words is truth; all your just regulations will stand forever. |
| Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. | Those who love your instructions have great peace and do not stumble. |
