The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear… Psalm 27:1

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1	The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? safety fear light
Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be confident. Psalm 27:3	Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident. fear heart trust

One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple. Psalm 27:4	The one thing I ask of the Lord— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple. love God nearness
I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! Psalm 27:13	Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living. goodness trust
