Psalm 32 - NCB & ESV

Blessed is the one whose offense is forgiven, whose sin is erased.Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
As long as I remained silent, my body wasted away as the result of my groaning throughout the day.For when I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.
Then I acknowledged my sin to you, and I made no attempt to conceal my guilt. I said, “I will confess my offenses to the Lord,” and you removed the guilt of my sin. SelahI acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah
You are a place of refuge for me; you preserve me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. SelahYou are a hiding place for me; you preserve me from trouble; you surround me with shouts of deliverance. Selah
I will instruct you and guide you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and keep my eyes upon you.I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.

Bible verse of the day

All this took place in order to fulfill what the Lord had announced through the prophet:
“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and give birth to a son,
and they shall name him Emmanuel,”
a name that means “God is with us.”
