Bible Verses about Receiving

I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours. So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ.Whatever you do, do it wholeheartedly, as if you were doing it for the Lord and not for others, since you know that you will receive from the Lord an inheritance as your reward for you are serving the Lord Christ.
You haven’t done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy.Until now, in my name, you have not asked for anything. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.
Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.
And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. And God is able to enrich you with an abundance of every grace, so that, with all of your needs provided for, you may be able to produce a surplus of good works.
Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap. The measure that you use for others will be used to measure you.
If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. If someone among you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without finding fault, and it will be given to him.
I lift my hands to you in prayer. I thirst for you as parched land thirsts for rain.I stretch out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. Selah
That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. Therefore, we do not lose heart. Even though our outer self is continuing to decay, our inner self is being renewed day by day.
Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons. Give as freely as you have received!Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. You received without payment; give in the same way.
But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true—it is not a lie. So just as he has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ. But as for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and therefore you do not need anyone to teach you. This same anointing teaches you everything and is true and not false, so abide in him just as he taught you.
Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?He did not spare his own Son but gave him up for all of us. How then can he fail also to give us everything else along with him?
And it is a good thing to receive wealth from God and the good health to enjoy it. To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life—this is indeed a gift from God.Moreover, the one to whom God grants wealth and possessions and the ability to enjoy them and to find contentment in his toil receives a gift from God.
So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can. And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labor, for these are gifts from God.I understand that man’s greatest happiness is to be glad and do well throughout his life. And when we eat and drink and find satisfaction in all our labors, this is a gift of God.
God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be satisfied.Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will have their fill.
But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life. But whoever drinks the water that I will give him will never be thirsty. The water that I will give him will become a spring of water within him welling up to eternal life.
By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. His divine power has bestowed on us everything that is necessary for life and for devotion through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue.
I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.I further pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you may know the hope to which he has called you, how rich and glorious is his inheritance in the saints.
We are witnesses of these things and so is the Holy Spirit, who is given by God to those who obey him.And we are witnesses to these things, as is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him.
And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.Such hope will not be doomed to disappointment, because the love of God has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.
Even so, I have noticed one thing, at least, that is good. It is good for people to eat, drink, and enjoy their work under the sun during the short life God has given them, and to accept their lot in life. This is the conclusion I have reached: it is fitting for a man to eat and drink and find satisfaction in the results of his labors under the sun during the brief span of life that God has allotted him.
But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Advocate won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you.Nevertheless, I am telling you the truth: it is better for you that I depart. For if I do not go away, the Advocate will not come to you, whereas if I go, I will send him to you.

Stay there, and I will give you the tablets of stone on which I have inscribed the instructions and commands so you can teach the people.”The Lord said to Moses, “Climb up to me on the mountain and remain there. I will give you stone tablets with the laws and commandments that I have written for their instruction.”
