Bible Verses about 'Alone'

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.In peace I lie down and sleep, for only with your help, O Lord, can I rest secure.
Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.”And the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I wish to make another creature who will be like him.”
He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress, so that I stand ever unshaken.
But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”Jesus answered, “As it is written: ‘Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.’ ”
He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress, so that I stand unshaken.
If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. And if one should fall, his companion will help him up. How pathetic is the man who is alone and falls and has no one to assist him to his feet.
Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him.In God alone be at rest, O my soul; it is from him that my hope comes.
I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him.In God alone is my soul at rest; it is from him that my salvation comes.
God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor? There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save or to destroy. Who then are you to pass judgment on a neighbor?
All honor and glory to God forever and ever! He is the eternal King, the unseen one who never dies; he alone is God. Amen.To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone.O Lord, let your kindness rest upon us, for we have placed our hope in you.
If another believer sins against you, go privately and point out the offense. If the other person listens and confesses it, you have won that person back.If your brother wrongs you, go and take up the matter with him when the two of you are alone. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over.
A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken. And where a single man can be overcome, two together will be able to resist. A cord with three strands is not easily broken.
Serve only the Lord your God and fear him alone. Obey his commands, listen to his voice, and cling to him.It is the Lord, your God, whom you are to follow. You must fear him and observe his commandments and obey what he tells you and serve him and hold fast to him.

Yes, he humbled you by letting you go hungry and then feeding you with manna, a food previously unknown to you and your ancestors. He did it to teach you that people do not live by bread alone; rather, we live by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.He brought you low, allowing you to suffer from hunger. He then fed you with manna, something with which your fathers were not familiar, so that you might come to know that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes forth from the mouth of the Lord.
O Lord, if you heal me, I will be truly healed; if you save me, I will be truly saved. My praises are for you alone!Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved; you are the one whom I praise.

Who has done such mighty deeds, summoning each new generation from the beginning of time? It is I, the Lord, the First and the Last. I alone am he.Who has performed these deeds and accomplished this? Who has summoned the nations from the beginning? I, the Lord, am the first, and I will be there with the last.
Wealth and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything. Power and might are in your hand, and at your discretion people are made great and given strength.Wealth and honor are from you, you reign over all. In your hand are power and might; it to is in your hand make great and to give strength to all.
But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. But he is to ask with faith, without doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed about by the wind.
Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.You who abide in the shelter of the Most High, who rest in the shadow of the Almighty, say to the Lord, “You are my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I place my trust.”
So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless. In the same way, faith by itself is dead if it does not have works.

I, yes I, am the one who comforts you. So why are you afraid of mere humans, who wither like the grass and disappear?I, I alone, am the one who comforts you. Why then do you fear mortal men who must die, human beings who must perish like grass?
