Along (2/2)

I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.
And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.”
Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. All honor and glory to God forever and ever! He is the eternal King, the unseen one who never dies; he alone is God. Amen.
But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’ ”But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up.If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.
Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. If another believer sins against you, go privately and point out the offense. If the other person listens and confesses it, you have won that person back.
So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.Yes, he humbled you by letting you go hungry and then feeding you with manna, a food previously unknown to you and your ancestors. He did it to teach you that people do not live by bread alone; rather, we live by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.
