| For, There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. | For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and mankind, the Man Christ Jesus. |
| He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. | And it is a good thing to receive wealth from God and the good health to enjoy it. | You want what you don’t have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous of what others have, but you can’t get it, so you fight and wage war to take it away from them.
