| Rather, revere Christ as Lord in your hearts. Always be prepared to offer an explanation to anyone who asks you to justify the hope that is in you. Always be ready to make your defense to anyone who demands from you an accounting for the hope that is in you. |
| Anyone who is victorious will be dressed like these in white robes, and I shall not blot his name from the book of life. | Brethren, if anyone is detected committing a transgression, you who are spiritual must set him right in a spirit of gentleness. | Therefore, do not allow anyone to pass judgment on you in regard to what you eat or drink, or about the observance of Festivals, New Moons, or Sabbaths. These are only a shadow of what is to come. | But as for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and therefore you do not need anyone to teach you. | Is anyone among you sick? He should send for the presbyters of the Church so that they may pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed any sins, he will be forgiven. | Are any among you sick?
