Blessed is anyone who endures temptation. Such a one has stood the test and will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. James 1:12	God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. reward temptation life
Do not deceive yourselves. If you think that you are wise in this age, you should become fools so that you may become wise. 1 Corinthians 3:18	Stop deceiving yourselves. If you think you are wise by this world’s standards, you need to become a fool to be truly wise. wisdom world selfishness

And whoever does not provide for relatives, and especially for family members, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. 1 Timothy 5:8	But those who won’t care for their relatives, especially those in their own household, have denied the true faith. Indeed, rarely will anyone die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person someone might actually dare to die. But God proves his love for us in that while we still were sinners Christ died for us.
