For wives, this means submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For a husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of the church. He is the Savior of his body, the church.Wives, be subject to your husbands as you are to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife just as Christ is the head of the church, the body of which he is the Savior.
Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory.Welcome one another, therefore, just as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.
Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit.Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, just as it is well with your soul.
For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling.
So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing. Therefore encourage one another and build up each other, as indeed you are doing.
So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.Be careful then how you live, not as unwise people but as wise, making the most of the time, because the days are evil.
As I learn your righteous regulations, I will thank you by living as I should!I will praise you with an upright heart, when I learn your righteous ordinances.
For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For once you were darkness, but now in the Lord you are light. Live as children of light.
For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”For the whole law is summed up in a single commandment, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you. This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us or abandon us.The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our ancestors; may he not leave us or abandon us.
As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.Iron sharpens iron, and one person sharpens the wits of another.
Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.And live in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true—it is not a lie. So just as he has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ. As for you, the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and so you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, abide in him.
No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you.I will not leave you orphaned; I am coming to you.
Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you.
So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.
As for you, Titus, promote the kind of living that reflects wholesome teaching. But as for you, teach what is consistent with sound doctrine.
For in him we live and move and exist. As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’For ‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we too are his offspring.’
Can anyone object to their being baptized, now that they have received the Holy Spirit just as we did?Can anyone withhold the water for baptizing these people who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?
The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these. The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer.Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So I will bless you as long as I live; I will lift up my hands and call on your name.
Let my teaching fall on you like rain; let my speech settle like dew. Let my words fall like rain on tender grass, like gentle showers on young plants.May my teaching drop like the rain, my speech condense like the dew; like gentle rain on grass, like showers on new growth.
So again I say, each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband. Each of you, however, should love his wife as himself, and a wife should respect her husband.
Do what is good and run from evil so that you may live! Then the Lord God of Heaven’s Armies will be your helper, just as you have claimed.Seek good and not evil, that you may live; and so the Lord, the God of hosts, will be with you, just as you have said.

Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ.Whatever your task, put yourselves into it, as done for the Lord and not for your masters, since you know that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward; you serve the Lord Christ.

Bible verse of the day

Where is another God like you,
who pardons the guilt of the remnant,
overlooking the sins of his special people?
You will not stay angry with your people forever,
because you delight in showing unfailing love.
