Bible Verses about 'As'
- As servants of God, live as free people, yet do not use your freedom as a pretext for evil.
- Set me as a seal upon your heart,
as a seal upon your arm;
for love is strong as death,
passion fierce as the grave.
Its flashes are flashes of fire,
a raging flame. - I delight in the way of your decrees
as much as in all riches. - As far as the east is from the west,
so far he removes our transgressions from us. - And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them just as it had upon us at the beginning.
- I will sing to the Lord as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have being. - As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing everything.
- Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
- If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.
- Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.
- And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors. - And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job when he had prayed for his friends; and the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
- Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
- Come now, let us argue it out,
says the Lord:
though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be like snow;
though they are red like crimson,
they shall become like wool. - Be careful then how you live, not as unwise people but as wise, making the most of the time, because the days are evil.
- And a second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
- No longer present your members to sin as instruments of wickedness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and present your members to God as instruments of righteousness.
- As a deer longs for flowing streams,
so my soul longs for you, O God. - For as all die in Adam, so all will be made alive in Christ.
- This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
- Just as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.

- I love the Lord, because he has heard
my voice and my supplications.
Because he inclined his ear to me,
therefore I will call on him as long as I live. - Just as water reflects the face,
so one human heart reflects another. - May my teaching drop like the rain,
my speech condense like the dew;
like gentle rain on grass,
like showers on new growth. - Welcome one another, therefore, just as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.

- Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
even as we hope in you. - For you bless the righteous, O Lord;
you cover them with favor as with a shield. - The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our ancestors; may he not leave us or abandon us.
- And live in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

that you may live;
and so the Lord, the God of hosts, will be with you,
just as you have said. - The second is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
