| As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. | I reprove and discipline all those whom I love. Therefore, be sincere in your desire to repent. |
| But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.” | Yet even if you should suffer for doing what is right, you are thereby blessed. Have no fear of others, and refuse to be intimidated by them. |
| This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. | This is the day that the Lord has made; let us exult and rejoice in it. |
