“For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” Says the Lord, who has mercy on you. | Although the mountains may be shaken and the hills may totter, my steadfast love will not depart from you, and my covenant of peace will never be shaken, says the Lord who has compassion on you. |
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. | I reprove and discipline all those whom I love. Therefore, be sincere in your desire to repent. |
But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.” | Yet even if you should suffer for doing what is right, you are thereby blessed. Have no fear of others, and refuse to be intimidated by them. |
This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. | This is the day that the Lord has made; let us exult and rejoice in it. |
