Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. | Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. |
But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave. | Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave. |

The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed. | The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself. |
So I tell you, every sin and blasphemy can be forgiven—except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, which will never be forgiven. | Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. |
