Who are you to judge the servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls; and he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand. | Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand. |
In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents. | In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents. |
And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were watching, and a cloud took Him up, out of their sight. | After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. |
Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full. | Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete. |
So remove sorrow from your heart and keep pain away from your body, because childhood and the prime of life are fleeting. | So then, banish anxiety from your heart and cast off the troubles of your body, for youth and vigor are meaningless. |
When you set your eyes on it, it is gone. For wealth certainly makes itself wings Like an eagle that flies toward the heavens. | Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle. |

Then he said to them, “Go, eat the festival foods, drink the sweet drinks, and send portions to him who has nothing prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your refuge.” | Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. Now I make known to you, brothers and sisters, the gospel which I preached to you, which you also received, in which you also stand, by which you also are saved, if you hold firmly to the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. | Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. And the Lord God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man. Then the man said, “At last this is bone of my bones, And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called ‘woman,’ Because she was taken out of man.” For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh. | Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.” That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh. |

He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God. |

And after it was sold, was it not under your control? Why is it that you have conceived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men, but to God.” | Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land? Didn’t it belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, wasn’t the money at your disposal? What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied just to human beings but to God.” |
