Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?” John 11:40	Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” faith Jesus

But the Scriptures declare that we are all prisoners of sin, so we receive God’s promise of freedom only by believing in Jesus Christ. Galatians 3:22	But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. sin trust faith
And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God. 1 John 5:5	Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? faith Jesus overcoming
Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?” John 11:25-26	Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” faith death resurrection
Paul said, “John’s baptism called for repentance from sin. But John himself told the people to believe in the one who would come later, meaning Jesus.” Acts 19:4	Then Paul said, “John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.” baptism conversion faith
That is why he is the one who mediates a new covenant between God and people, so that all who are called can receive the eternal inheritance God has promised them. For Christ died to set them free from the penalty of the sins they had committed under that first covenant. Hebrews 9:15	And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. law Savior mediator
But when Jesus heard what had happened, he said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be healed.” Luke 8:50	But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well.” fear faith healing
People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy. Proverbs 28:13	He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy. sin confession mercy
Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world. 1 John 4:1	Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. trust Spirit prophecy
Who are you to condemn someone else’s servants? Their own master will judge whether they stand or fall. And with the Lord’s help, they will stand and receive his approval. Romans 14:4	Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand. faith judgment equipment
Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15	Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. honesty truth work
So if someone tells you, ‘Look, the Messiah is out in the desert,’ don’t bother to go and look. Or, ‘Look, he is hiding here,’ don’t believe it! For as the lightning flashes in the east and shines to the west, so it will be when the Son of Man comes. Matthew 24:26-27	Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. And it is a good thing to receive wealth from God and the good health to enjoy it. To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life—this is indeed a gift from God. Ecclesiastes 5:19	As for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and given him power to eat of it, to receive his heritage and rejoice in his labor—this is the gift of God. money food work
Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7	Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. reward seeking receiving
But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. John 1:12	But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. faith Father children
The wise are glad to be instructed, but babbling fools fall flat on their faces. Proverbs 10:8	The wise in heart will receive commands, But a prating fool will fall. law wisdom heart
For you have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the privilege of suffering for him. Philippians 1:29	For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake. grace faith suffering
And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. Luke 11:9	So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. prayer seeking reliability
“Yes,” Jesus replied, “and I assure you that everyone who has given up house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or property, for my sake and for the Good News, will receive now in return a hundred times as many houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and property—along with persecution. And in the world to come that person will have eternal life.” Mark 10:29-30	So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.” evangelism blessing persecution
I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. Mark 11:23	For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. trust faith heart
Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ. Colossians 3:23-24	And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. reward life receiving
I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ. Galatians 3:5	Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? law Spirit listening
My child, listen to me and do as I say, and you will have a long, good life. Proverbs 4:10	Hear, my son, and receive my sayings, And the years of your life will be many. Word of God obedience law
So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.” Romans 8:15	For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” fear Spirit children

So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls.

Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.
