In contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things.But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
Guide me in your truth and instruct me, for you are God, my Savior, and in you I hope all the day long.Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.

But according to Scripture all things have been confined under sin, so that through faith in Jesus Christ what was promised might be given to those who believe.But the Scripture imprisoned everything under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

As for me, I trust in your kindness; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord because he has been good to me.But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, because he has dealt bountifully with me.
Therefore, we do not lose heart. Even though our outer self is continuing to decay, our inner self is being renewed day by day.So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.
You will show me the path to life; you will fill me with joy in your presence and everlasting delights at your right hand.You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
Then Jesus said to him, “You have come to believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.”Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
Everyone who seeks a prize submits himself to rigorous self-discipline in every respect. They do so to win a perishable crown, while we seek an imperishable one.Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.
Wealth and honor are from you, you reign over all. In your hand are power and might; it to is in your hand make great and to give strength to all.Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all.
But without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever comes to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
Do not deprive one another, except perhaps by mutual consent for a specified time so as to devote yourselves to prayer. It is better to spend one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in God’s house than dwell inside the tents of the wicked.For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. When Jesus heard this, he said, “Do not be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be saved.”But Jesus on hearing this answered him, “Do not fear; only believe, and she will be well.”
Let no one regard you with contempt because of your youth, but serve as an example to the believers in your speech and conduct, in your love, your faith, and your purity.Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
Do not seek to adorn yourself externally—by the braiding of your hair and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothing. Rather, let your adornment be of your inner self, the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear— but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious.
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity but rather a spirit of power and of love and of wisdom.For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
The Lord then said, “Very well. All that he has is in your power. However, you may not lay a hand upon him.” So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your hand. Only against him do not stretch out your hand.” So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.
Rather, revere Christ as Lord in your hearts. Always be prepared to offer an explanation to anyone who asks you to justify the hope that is in you. However, do so with gentleness and respect.But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.

So if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out there. If they say, ‘Behold, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For just as lightning comes from the east and is visible even in the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.So, if they say to you, ‘Look, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out. If they say, ‘Look, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
