| Or can one walk on hot coals and his feet not be scorched? | Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned? |
| See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone. | See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. |

| Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. | Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. |
| Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents. | Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. |
| Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God. | Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God. |
| But the one who endures to the end will be saved. | But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. |

| When he realizes his guilt in any of these and confesses the sin he has committed, he shall bring to the Lord as his compensation for the sin that he has committed. | And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing. |
| But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man's trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many. | But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. |
| And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. | And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. |
| Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” | Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. |
| But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one. | But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. |
| For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. | For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. |
| For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” | For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. |
| For who knows a person's thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? | The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight. | The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. |
| And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. | And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. |
