Bible Verses about the Body

«What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the… 1 Corinthians 6:19-20»
Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
Remove vexation from your heart, and put away pain from your body, for youth and the dawn of life are vanity. Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.
A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
For while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
And the rib that the Lord God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man. Then the man said, “This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.” Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified. But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is.
There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling.
And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body. For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell. And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior.Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
