After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God.So then, when the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.
When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.God raised up His Servant for you first, and sent Him to bless you by turning every one of you from your wicked ways.
Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. For this is what the high and exalted One says— he who lives forever, whose name is holy: “I live in a high and holy place, but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.”For this is what the high and exalted One Who lives forever, whose name is Holy, says: “I dwell in a high and holy place, And also with the contrite and lowly of spirit In order to revive the spirit of the lowly And to revive the heart of the contrite.”
Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?
The Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous.The Lord opens the eyes of those who are blind; The Lord raises up those who are bowed down; The Lord loves the righteous.
When I said, “My foot is slipping,” your unfailing love, Lord, supported me.If I should say, “My foot has slipped,” Your faithfulness, Lord, will support me.
We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.Let’s not become discouraged in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not become weary.
Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me.And the one who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.
Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up.Anxiety in a person’s heart weighs it down, But a good word makes it glad.
How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you.How great is Your goodness, Which You have stored up for those who fear You, Which You have performed for those who take refuge in You, Before the sons of mankind!
Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.Because Your favor is better than life, My lips will praise You. So I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.
The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”For this, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never be thirsty; but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up to eternal life.
And walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.And walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.
Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!Therefore the Lord longs to be gracious to you, And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the Lord is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long for Him.
He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless.He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity.
The Lord said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain and stay here, and I will give you the tablets of stone with the law and commandments I have written for their instruction.”Now the Lord said to Moses, “Come up to Me on the mountain and stay there, and I will give you the stone tablets with the Law and the commandments which I have written for their instruction.”

These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. And you shall repeat them diligently to your sons and speak of them when you sit in your house, when you walk on the road, when you lie down, and when you get up.
