| I urge you, brothers and sisters, to keep an eye on those who cause dissensions and offenses, in opposition to the teaching that you have learned; avoid them. | Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. |

| Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. | It is well with those who deal generously and lend, who conduct their affairs with justice. | A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion. |

| Take care, brothers and sisters, that none of you may have an evil, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. | Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. |
| Do not say, “Why were the former days better than these?” For it is not from wisdom that you ask this. | Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this. |
| And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, just as we abound in love for you. | And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you. |
