This is how we know if they have the Spirit of God: If a person claiming to be a prophet acknowledges that Jesus Christ came in a real body, that person has the Spirit of God. But if someone claims to be a prophet and does not acknowledge the truth about Jesus, that person is not from God. Enjoy prosperity while you can, but when hard times strike, realize that both come from God. Remember that nothing is certain in this life. When you see the tassels, you will remember and obey all the commands of the Lord instead of following your own desires and defiling yourselves, as you are prone to do. By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. 2 Peter 1:3	His divine power has given us everything needed for life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. strength life receiving
After all, we brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can’t take anything with us when we leave it. So if we have enough food and clothing, let us be content. 1 Timothy 6:7-8	For we brought nothing into the world, so that we can take nothing out of it; but if we have food and clothing, we will be content with these. food materialism contentment
So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world. Hebrews 4:9-10	So then, a sabbath rest still remains for the people of God; for those who enter God's rest also cease from their labors as God did from his. sabbath rest work
As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God. Psalm 42:1	As a deer longs for flowing streams, so my soul longs for you, O God. God desires
Serve only the Lord your God and fear him alone. Obey his commands, listen to his voice, and cling to him. But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me. I will sing to the Lord because he is good to me. But from there you will search again for the Lord your God. And if you search for him with all your heart and soul, you will find him. Deuteronomy 4:29	From there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find him if you search after him with all your heart and soul. God reward soul

The one thing I ask of the Lord— the thing I seek most— is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple.

One thing I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple.
