- For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
- But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
being small among the clans of Judah,
out of you one will come out to me who is to be ruler in Israel;
whose goings out are from of old, from ancient times. - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.
- But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, for its lusts.
- Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

- This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ.
- Now may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, our Lord Jesus, make you complete in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Dividing his garments among them, they cast lots. - But the free gift isn’t like the trespass. For if by the trespass of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many.
- Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.”
