Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it would be done.” | Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. |
Therefore, whoever shall break one of these least commandments and teach others to do so, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever shall do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven. | Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. |

For the customs of the peoples are vanity; for one cuts a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman with the ax. They deck it with silver and with gold. They fasten it with nails and with hammers, so that it can’t move. They are like a palm tree, of turned work, and don’t speak. They must be carried, because they can’t move. Don’t be afraid of them; for they can’t do evil, neither is it in them to do good. | For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. |
Whom do I have in heaven? There is no one on earth whom I desire besides you. | Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. |
But if we hope for that which we don’t see, we wait for it with patience. | But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. |
For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire. | For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. |
Now why do you wait? Arise, be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord. | And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord. |
Surely the Lord Yahweh will do nothing, unless he reveals his secret to his servants the prophets. | Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. |
Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness? | Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? |
For God is not unrighteous, so as to forget your work and the labor of love which you showed toward his name, in that you served the saints, and still do serve them. | For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. |
Arise, Yahweh! God, lift up your hand! Don’t forget the helpless. | Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble. |
The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, but those who seek Yahweh shall not lack any good thing. | The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. |
May the Lord make you to increase and abound in love toward one another and toward all men, even as we also do toward you. | And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you. |
I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes. You will keep my ordinances and do them. | And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. |
For, “He who would love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit. Let him turn away from evil and do good. Let him seek peace and pursue it.” | For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile: Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it. |
When Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do.” | But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. |
Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. | Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. |
Don’t weary yourself to be rich. In your wisdom, show restraint. | Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom. |
Don’t judge, and you won’t be judged. Don’t condemn, and you won’t be condemned. Set free, and you will be set free. | Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven. |
Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation; you shall do no kind of work. It is a Sabbath to Yahweh in all your dwellings. | Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings. |
Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don’t curse. | Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. |
I don’t reject the grace of God. For if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nothing! | I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. |
Now who will harm you if you become imitators of that which is good? | And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? |
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” | Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? |
Don’t love the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love isn’t in him. | Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. |
