- If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.

“The Lord is my helper. I will not fear.
What can man do to me?” - So then let’s not sleep, as the rest do, but let’s watch and be sober.

Lead me in the land of uprightness. - Learn to do well.
Seek justice.
Relieve the oppressed.
Defend the fatherless.
Plead for the widow. - Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath day.
- Yahweh’s face is against those who do evil,
to cut off their memory from the earth. - Therefore, when you do merciful deeds, don’t sound a trumpet before yourself, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may get glory from men. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward.

- So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.
- Don’t say, “Why were the former days better than these?” For you do not ask wisely about this.
- He took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body which is given for you. Do this in memory of me.”
- And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.
- But if we hope for that which we don’t see, we wait for it with patience.
- For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh.
- Or do you think that I couldn’t ask my Father, and he would even now send me more than twelve legions of angels?
- Don’t judge, so that you won’t be judged.
- Beloved, if our hearts don’t condemn us, we have boldness toward God; so whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.
- Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you told this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it would be done.”
