- If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
- Whether therefore you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

What can man do to me? - I delight to do your will, my God.
Yes, your law is within my heart. - Trust in Yahweh, and do good.
Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture. - Don’t withhold good from those to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of your hand to do it. - He who calls you is faithful, who will also do it.
- To do righteousness and justice
is more acceptable to Yahweh than sacrifice. - Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- In God, I praise his word.
In God, I put my trust.
I will not be afraid.
What can flesh do to me? - So that with good courage we say,
“The Lord is my helper. I will not fear.
What can man do to me?” - Yahweh’s face is against those who do evil,
to cut off their memory from the earth. - Learn to do well.
Seek justice.
Relieve the oppressed.
Defend the fatherless.
Plead for the widow. - Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God.
Your Spirit is good.
Lead me in the land of uprightness. - In praying, don’t use vain repetitions as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking.
- So then let’s not sleep, as the rest do, but let’s watch and be sober.
- Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath day.
- Therefore, when you do merciful deeds, don’t sound a trumpet before yourself, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may get glory from men. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward.
- Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but don’t consider the beam that is in your own eye?
God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way. God relented of the disaster which he said he would do to them, and he didn’t do it.He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress.
