Bible Verses about 'Do'
- And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that.
- If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.

your law is within my heart. - Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. - The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.
- You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God.
- To do what is right and just
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. - Do not wear yourself out to get rich;
do not trust your own cleverness. - Do not judge, or you too will be judged.
- And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
- And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
- In God, whose word I praise—
in God I trust and am not afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me? - Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God;
may your good Spirit
lead me on level ground. - So we say with confidence,
“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?” - Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
- How much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.
- Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
- But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
- For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.
- Learn to do right; seek justice.
Defend the oppressed.
Take up the cause of the fatherless;
plead the case of the widow. - Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
- So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.

keep your foot from evil. - Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.
- Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
- I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
- So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober.

so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty. - When the sentence for a crime is not quickly carried out, people’s hearts are filled with schemes to do wrong.
- Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him.
- The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
- If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.
- Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.
