Bible Verses about Goodness
- Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

- Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

for you, Lord, are good. - Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

“Stand at the crossroads and look;
ask for the ancient paths,
ask where the good way is, and walk in it,
and you will find rest for your souls.
But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’” - Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”
- Then you will understand what is right and just
and fair—every good path. - Who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
- For the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth.
- I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God.
