Bible Verses about Learning
- I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. - Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
- Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
but fools despise wisdom and instruction. - Show me your ways, Lord,
teach me your paths. - Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
- My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline,
and do not resent his rebuke,
because the Lord disciplines those he loves,
as a father the son he delights in. - Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge,
but whoever hates correction is stupid. - I instruct you in the way of wisdom
and lead you along straight paths. - Guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long. - Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God;
may your good Spirit
lead me on level ground. - Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
- Good and upright is the Lord;
therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.
He guides the humble in what is right
and teaches them his way. - As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.
- You, however, must teach what is appropriate to sound doctrine.
- Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me.”
- Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
- Teach me your way, Lord,
that I may rely on your faithfulness;
give me an undivided heart,
that I may fear your name. - Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah.
- Let my teaching fall like rain
and my words descend like dew,
like showers on new grass,
like abundant rain on tender plants. - My soul yearns for you in the night;
in the morning my spirit longs for you.
When your judgments come upon the earth,
the people of the world learn righteousness. - Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the Lord your God disciplines you.
- But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
- You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house.
- Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
