- And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
- Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
- Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
- Depart from evil, and do good;
seek peace, and pursue it. - And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
- I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
- The Lord is on my side; I will not fear:
what can man do unto me? - Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
- Withhold not good from them to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. - I delight to do thy will, O my God:
yea, thy law is within my heart. - Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
- Let all your things be done with charity.
- To do justice and judgment
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. - Trust in the Lord, and do good;
so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. - For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh.
- And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
- In God I will praise his word,
in God I have put my trust;
I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. - But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
- Teach me to do thy will;
for thou art my God:
thy spirit is good;
lead me into the land of uprightness. - Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
- But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
- Learn to do well; seek judgment,
relieve the oppressed,
judge the fatherless,
plead for the widow. - How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
- Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
The face of the Lord is against them that do evil,
to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
