| So Peter was kept in the prison, but prayer for him was being made to God intensely by the church. | Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. |

| Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving. | Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving. |

| A wicked person earns deceptive wages, But one who sows righteousness gets a true reward. | The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward. |
