Everlasting Father (2/4)

Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall. For in this way there will be richly provided for you an entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.A wise son makes a glad father, but a foolish son is a sorrow to his mother.
Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.”
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him.
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.But if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one.I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. I and the Father are one.
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever.And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever.
Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.And every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him.The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice; he who fathers a wise son will be glad in him.
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.
Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.Your testimonies are my heritage forever, for they are the joy of my heart.
Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.
O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever!
Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.
Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.And Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” And they cast lots to divide his garments.

Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels?
