The Lord of Heaven’s Armies is a wonderful teacher, and he gives the farmer great wisdom. | This also comes from the Lord of armies, Who has made His counsel wonderful and His wisdom great. |
Eloquent words are not fitting for a fool; even less are lies fitting for a ruler. | Excellent speech is not fitting for a fool, Much less are lying lips to a prince. |

But now Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for he is the one who mediates for us a far better covenant with God, based on better promises. | But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, to the extent that He is also the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted on better promises. |
Sing to the Lord, for he has done wonderful things. Make known his praise around the world. | Praise the Lord in song, for He has done glorious things; Let this be known throughout the earth. |
Who can find a virtuous and capable wife? She is more precious than rubies. | An excellent wife, who can find her? For her worth is far above jewels. |
And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. | Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think about these things. |
We cannot imagine the power of the Almighty; but even though he is just and righteous, he does not destroy us. | The Almighty—we cannot find Him; He is exalted in power And He will not violate justice and abundant righteousness. |
A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength. | A joyful heart is good medicine, But a broken spirit dries up the bones. |
