For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.
Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up your hand; forget not the afflicted.Arise, O Lord! Punish the wicked, O God! Do not ignore the helpless!

But even if that were possible, I would not forget you! See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands. Always in my mind is a picture of Jerusalem’s walls in ruins.
And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you.
The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers. May he not leave us or forsake us.May the Lord our God be with us as he was with our ancestors; may he never leave us or abandon us.
Woe to him who strives with him who formed him, a pot among earthen pots! Does the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’ or ‘Your work has no handles’?What sorrow awaits those who argue with their Creator. Does a clay pot argue with its maker? For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?
And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job, when he had prayed for his friends. And the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.When Job prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes. In fact, the Lord gave him twice as much as before!
And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”And he took a cup of wine and gave thanks to God for it. He gave it to them and said, “Each of you drink from it, for this is my blood, which confirms the covenant between God and his people. It is poured out as a sacrifice to forgive the sins of many.”

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.
