Bible Verses about 'Forbid'

Can anyone withhold water for baptizing these people, who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have? Can anyone withhold the water of baptism from these people who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?
But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them. For it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.”
But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.May I never boast of anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world is crucified to me and I to the world.
What then? Are we to sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! What then? Should we sin because we are not under the Law but under grace? Of course not!
If anyone sins, doing any of the things that by the Lord's commandments ought not to be done, though he did not know it, then realizes his guilt, he shall bear his iniquity. When someone sins and does any of the things that the Lord has forbidden, even if he does not realize he did it, he has still committed an offense and must bear his guilt.
I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?What then shall we say? Should we persist in sin in order that grace may abound? Of course not! We have died to sin. How can we live in it any longer?
What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. For I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”What then should we say? That the Law is sinful? Absolutely not! Yet if it had not been for the Law, I would not have known what sin was. I would not have known what covet is if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.
Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.Rather, be kind to one another and compassionate, and forgive one another as God has forgiven you in Christ.
Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.Bear with one another, and forgive one another if anyone has reason to be offended with another. You must forgive just as the Lord has forgiven you.
For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.If you forgive others for the wrongs they have done, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
But if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions.
Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven.Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. Therefore, I tell you that every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress, so that I stand unshaken.
The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore. The Lord will protect you against all evil; he will watch over your life. The Lord will watch over your coming and your going both now and forevermore.
He who withholds kindness from a friend forsakes the fear of the Almighty. One who despairs should have the support of his friends even if he has forsaken the fear of the Almighty.
Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.Blessed is the one whose offense is forgiven, whose sin is erased.
The Lord is with you while you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.The Lord is with you while you are with him. If you seek him, he will permit you to find him, but if you abandon him, he will abandon you.
For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.O Lord, you are kind and forgiving, filled with kindness for all who cry to you.
He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress, so that I stand ever unshaken.
For you are my rock and my fortress; and for your name's sake you lead me and guide me.You are truly my rock and my fortress; for the sake of your name, lead and guide me.
And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. And whenever you stand in prayer, forgive whatever grievance you have against anybody, so that your Father in heaven may forgive your wrongs too.
And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul? What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his very life?
