He went on: “What comes out of a person is what defiles them. For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and defile a person.”And he said, “It is what comes out of a person that defiles. For it is from within, from the human heart, that evil intentions come: fornication, theft, murder, adultery, avarice, wickedness, deceit, licentiousness, envy, slander, pride, folly. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.”
Who has done this and carried it through, calling forth the generations from the beginning? I, the Lord—with the first of them and with the last—I am he.Who has performed and done this, calling the generations from the beginning? I, the Lord, am first, and will be with the last.
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.Because if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.And all of us, with unveiled faces, seeing the glory of the Lord as though reflected in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord, the Spirit.
And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.The commandment we have from him is this: those who love God must love their brothers and sisters also.

Till the Spirit is poured on us from on high, and the desert becomes a fertile field, and the fertile field seems like a forest.Until a spirit from on high is poured out on us, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is deemed a forest.
This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light and in him there is no darkness at all.
But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.But now that you have been freed from sin and enslaved to God, the advantage you get is sanctification. The end is eternal life.
But test them all; hold on to what is good, reject every kind of evil.But test everything; hold fast to what is good; abstain from every form of evil.

Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong.Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your doings from before my eyes; cease to do evil.
For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”For in it the righteousness of God is revealed through faith for faith; as it is written, “The one who is righteous will live by faith.”
