GOD CARES FOR US (3/4)

This is how we can be certain that we abide in him and that he abides in us: he has given us a share in his Spirit.By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
Come forth! Let us bow down to worship him; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker.O come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!
Each of us must consider his neighbor’s good for the purpose of building him up.Each of us must please our neighbor for the good purpose of building up the neighbor.
And this is the testimony: God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.And this is the testimony: God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
For who is God except the Lord? Who is a rock aside from our God?For who is God, but the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God?
Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
His divine power has bestowed on us everything that is necessary for life and for devotion through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue. His divine power has given us everything needed for life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
At the appointed time, while we were still helpless, Christ died for the ungodly. For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
As a deer longs for running streams, so my soul longs for you, O God.As a deer longs for flowing streams, so my soul longs for you, O God.
But as for me, I will look to the Lord. I place my hope in God my savior; my God will hear me.But as for me, I will look to the Lord, I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.
For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so too, through Christ, do we receive our consolation. For just as the sufferings of Christ are abundant for us, so also our consolation is abundant through Christ.
Jesus looked at them and said, “For men it is impossible, but not for God. For God all things are possible.”Jesus looked at them and said, “For mortals it is impossible, but not for God; for God all things are possible.”
And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
Blessed are the pure of heart, for they will see God.Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
The Lord commanded us to observe all of these statutes and to fear the Lord, our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, even as we are today. Then the Lord commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our lasting good, so as to keep us alive, as is now the case.
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for refutation, for correction, and for training in uprightness, so that the man of God may be proficient and equipped for good work of every kind. All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work.
For the love of Christ urges us forward, once we conclude that one has died for all, and therefore all have died. And he died for all, so that those who live might no longer live for themselves, but for him who for their sakes died and was raised to life. For the love of Christ urges us on, because we are convinced that one has died for all; therefore all have died. And he died for all, so that those who live might live no longer for themselves, but for him who died and was raised for them.
Therefore, we fasted and prayed to God to grant us a safe journey, and he answered our prayer. So we fasted and petitioned our God for this, and he listened to our entreaty.
He replied, “What is impossible for men is possible for God.”He replied, “What is impossible for mortals is possible for God.”
Such hope will not be doomed to disappointment, because the love of God has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.And hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.
God’s love was revealed to us in this way: God sent his only-begotten Son into the world so that we might have life through him.God's love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might live through him.
All those who keep his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And the proof that he abides in us is the Spirit that he has given us.All who obey his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit that he has given us.
For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and man, Christ Jesus, himself a man.For there is one God; there is also one mediator between God and humankind, Christ Jesus, himself human.
Let us remain firm in the confession of our hope without wavering, for the one who made the promise is trustworthy.Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who has promised is faithful.

Let us examine and test our ways and return to the Lord.Let us test and examine our ways, and return to the Lord.
