- Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.
- What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
- And live in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
- Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I; send me!”
- As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the lure of wealth choke the word, and it yields nothing.
- We know love by this, that he laid down his life for us—and we ought to lay down our lives for one another.
- Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.”
- So we have known and believe the love that God has for us.
God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them. - He it is who gave himself for us that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify for himself a people of his own who are zealous for good deeds.
- When the cares of my heart are many,
your consolations cheer my soul. - Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us,
and prosper for us the work of our hands—
O prosper the work of our hands! - For this slight momentary affliction is preparing us for an eternal weight of glory beyond all measure.
- Indeed, rarely will anyone die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person someone might actually dare to die. But God proves his love for us in that while we still were sinners Christ died for us.
- He who did not withhold his own Son, but gave him up for all of us, will he not with him also give us everything else?
- Yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.
- Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but that very Spirit intercedes with sighs too deep for words.
- For you, O God, have tested us;
you have tried us as silver is tried. - For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life.
- For a child has been born for us,
a son given to us;
authority rests upon his shoulders;
and he is named
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. - For just as the sufferings of Christ are abundant for us, so also our consolation is abundant through Christ.
- Help us, O God of our salvation,
for the glory of your name;
deliver us, and forgive our sins,
for your name's sake. - The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our ancestors; may he not leave us or abandon us.
- If we diligently observe this entire commandment before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us, we will be in the right.
- The Lord is good,
a stronghold in a day of trouble;
he protects those who take refuge in him. - For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
Cast your burden on the Lord,
and he will sustain you;
he will never permit
the righteous to be moved.But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything, and remind you of all that I have said to you. You did not choose me but I chose you. And I appointed you to go and bear fruit, fruit that will last, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask him in my name.Next verse!With image
