- Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.
- As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the lure of wealth choke the word, and it yields nothing.
- What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
- When the cares of my heart are many,
your consolations cheer my soul. - So we have known and believe the love that God has for us.
God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them. - And live in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
- For you, O God, have tested us;
you have tried us as silver is tried. - Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us,
and prosper for us the work of our hands—
O prosper the work of our hands! - The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our ancestors; may he not leave us or abandon us.
- He it is who gave himself for us that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify for himself a people of his own who are zealous for good deeds.
- We know love by this, that he laid down his life for us—and we ought to lay down our lives for one another.
- For a child has been born for us,
a son given to us;
authority rests upon his shoulders;
and he is named
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. - Help us, O God of our salvation,
for the glory of your name;
deliver us, and forgive our sins,
for your name's sake. - Indeed, rarely will anyone die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person someone might actually dare to die. But God proves his love for us in that while we still were sinners Christ died for us.
- Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I; send me!”
- For just as the sufferings of Christ are abundant for us, so also our consolation is abundant through Christ.
- No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us.
- Yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist.
- My soul thirsts for God,
for the living God.
When shall I come and behold
the face of God? - These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
- Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
- For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline.
- Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love.
- Cast your burden on the Lord,
and he will sustain you;
he will never permit
the righteous to be moved. - May God continue to bless us;
let all the ends of the earth revere him.
Restore us, O Lord God of hosts;
let your face shine, that we may be saved.Keep alert, stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.Next verse!With image
