- Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
- What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
- For thou, O God, hast proved us:
thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. - And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
- He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
- For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
- Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
- He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
- Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
- The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us.
- For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
- Help us, O God of our salvation,
for the glory of thy name:
and deliver us, and purge away our sins,
for thy name's sake. - For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.
- Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
- Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
- For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps.
- In the multitude of my thoughts within me
thy comforts delight my soul. - No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
- My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God:
when shall I come and appear before God? - And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
- For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
- But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
- Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
- He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
- Cast thy burden upon the Lord,
and he shall sustain thee:
he shall never suffer
the righteous to be moved.
So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was intreated of us.Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.Next verse! With image
