| Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you. | Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. |
| What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us? | What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? |

But God proves his love for us in that while we still were sinners Christ died for us. | For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. |
| He who did not withhold his own Son, but gave him up for all of us, will he not with him also give us everything else? | He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? |
| Yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we exist. | But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. |
