Bible Verses about 'Give'

Give us today the food we need.Give us this day our daily bread.
I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart.I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him.If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Give to anyone who asks; and when things are taken away from you, don’t try to get them back.Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back.
First, help me never to tell a lie. Second, give me neither poverty nor riches! Give me just enough to satisfy my needs.Remove falsehood and lies far from me; Give me neither poverty nor riches— Feed me with the food allotted to me.
Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done.Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples!
Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart’s desires.Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
So don’t be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom.Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life. But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you.And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever.
For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.
You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
All right then, the Lord himself will give you the sign. Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel (which means ‘God is with us’).Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.
For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.
Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons. Give as freely as you have received!Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.
Now may the Lord of peace himself give you his peace at all times and in every situation. The Lord be with you all.Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all.
Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak. But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.
If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.
So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
