| If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands, I will send you the seasonal rains. | When you give to someone in need, don’t do as the hypocrites do—blowing trumpets in the synagogues and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! I tell you the truth, they have received all the reward they will ever get. | Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. |
| But who am I, and who are my people, that we could give anything to you? Everything we have has come from you, and we give you only what you first gave us! | But who am I, and who are my people, That we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from You, And of Your own we have given You. |

Yes, I have cursed them already, Because you do not take it to heart.” |
| May he grant your heart’s desires and make all your plans succeed. | May He grant you according to your heart’s desire, And fulfill all your purpose. |
| Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. | Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. |
| “Don’t be afraid, Mary,” the angel told her, “for you have found favor with God! You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus.” | Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. | I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ. | Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? |
| Please, Lord, please save us. Please, Lord, please give us success. Bless the one who comes in the name of the Lord. We bless you from the house of the Lord. | Save now, I pray, O Lord; O Lord, I pray, send now prosperity. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! We have blessed you from the house of the Lord. |
| He chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his prized possession. | Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures. |
